The Promised Land

Odometer 12050

No, we haven't found the promised land yet, but with significant confidence I can tell you it is not Perkins Ohio. Just a FYI.

On our way East through Indiana, we stopped at the Motor Home/RV Museum/Hall of Fame. A beautiful facility in the "RV capital of the world", Elkhart IN. They have more expansion in the planning stages, but as of now they have three large areas of RVs. One area is of brand new ones, another area is of classics post WWII with some one of a kind designs, and the other is of pre-WWII. An amazing collection, many of which were donated by the original owners of the RV. Zoe of course climbed in and out of each one not roped off and tried out many of the beds.
Among some of the classics is one made for Mae West - it was used to chauffeur her from her home or hotel to the set. It even had a back porch which had a rocking chair for her to relax in. Some amazing conversions of even the Model T into slide out sleepers.
