Ah, the falls

Niagra Falls - Odometer 12725, gas 2.55 at the local tax free Indian reservation
Is it too late to give Buffalo to the Canucks?

More driving, made it into NY - the roads are definitely not as smooth as PN and the drivers seem to be getting more aggressive, even though we are 400 miles from NY city.
We had beautiful weather for the falls, and as we are riding the "Maid of the Mist" boat into the mist at the bottom, Zoe absolutely loved seeing all of the "ducks" on the rocks. Also in the Niagra state park, is the "scenic trolley" - it was neither a trolley nor scenic. It was more reminiscent of a city bus ride through the Bronx. Packed in, the only thing I actually heard the "tour guide" say was screaming for those in the aisle to move back so the people in the front could "freakin breathe". Without the stroller handy though - we toughed out the whole loop. If you find yourself there - we recommend walking. :)
We didn't try any buffalo wings there - but if you see the pic I did find where buffalo wings come from. You'll also notice the very large ramp - like the super slide at the carnival as a kid - but this is permanent and only a short walk from the falls. What it is is a sledding hill for the summer, in Niagra Falls NY - makes me think of maybe building a wave pool across the street from Waikiki beach, but that's just me.
When we stopped at the grocery store and saw the multicolored RV - we thought for a second Eric and Colleen weren't too far away, but alas, we couldn't find them.

  2. Yup - we were at Denny's, actually the most appetizing dining establishment we could find within a mile radius of the falls.
