Cruising NY

Odometer - 12980, gas: 2.73 gallon

Verona NY - We are having a great time in this stop over town. Found a RV park with a near perfect rating in the campground bible in the general geographic location we were looking for - and we have not been dissapointed. The Turning Point Indian Casino has a great campground down the road from the casino. There is a kiddie pool that Zoe affectionately calls "her pool", two lakes, park, actually usable tennis and basketball courts, . . . - anyway, if you need a place to stay in Verona, we recommend this place.

A short drive away is Sylvan Beach with its own permanent carnival - including ten "kiddie rides" which Zoe took full advantage of too. Unfortunately we had a little thunder and rain so we couldn't swim in the lake, but that didn't stop me from making sand castles and Zoe quickly stomping on all them!

Missy cooked up a great meal while Zoe and Kes enjoyed Dora the Explorer on the portable DVD. Maybe Zoe more than Kes . . .

Finally, to top off the VErona experience, we went to Nicky Doodles just down the road from the campground. 50+ flavors of soft serve, 15 different sundaes on the menu, 30+ flavors of regular ice cream and everything you order can be topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. Zoe devoured her chocolate with rainbow sprinkles!
