Had a stopover here on our way SW. This was not the closest, but the only KOA on our way from Mystic to Hershey. We had a very long day in the car driving through Conneticut, New York, New Jersey and ending in PA. Lots of fun pulling a travel trailer through the bronx and over the G.W. bridge. Yes, insert sarcasm.
The KOA in Allentown is very nice though. This pic is of Zoe and I waiting for the pool to open at 10.
This little guy came right over and jumped into the kiddie pool with Zoe and I. Zoe screamed: "Big bug" "Get it"! We scooped him up and helped him back into the bushes.
The site was great for the night, playground right next door and a little stream about 15 feet away. And it had the latest check out we have ever seen - 2pm - which allowed us to enjoy the place before moving on.
